Actually, before FreeBSD 8, it appears that the truncated strings are what's kept in /var/log/lastlog, so the information just isn't there. FreeBSD 8 appears to only store IP addresses. This seems to make NetBSD's -H and -n options meaningless in FreeBSD. Are you still interested in the other ones?
