 Have you tried adding "ln mount_nfs nfs" to the crunchgen config
 file? I'm fairly sure we use this in a local diskless configuration
 and it works fine.
 
 BTW, your email address bounced, so I'm guessing at what it is
 supposed to be (webweaving instead of wewbeaving).
