First of all - this is running under FreeBSD, right? NOT Windows95 or
Windows98 or similar (cause if it run under MS-Windows, you shouldn't be
asking here - you should be calling support, as none of us know how to help
you. Besides, we don't like Win95 ;-)

(a) Try asking on multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG - most of the savvy people read
that (and there isn't so much mail there it would be cumbersome :-)

(b) Try installing and running Fxtv instead of vidcap32 - when you have that
running, you know the drivers are correct. (This is the program most
people use to test). I've never even heard of vidcap32...

(c) If you get errors connected to DGI (Direct Graphics Interface), you
should run XFree86 instead of AcceleratedX (or whatever X you're using).

(d) The major number recently changed from 79 to 92 - check the /dev/bktr0
and /dev/tuner0 is major number 92.

(e) If you get problems capturing audio, you probably have a card which we
don't detect quite right. There are ways to fix this; contact the
multimedia list for details. (You run an id-probe you get from Amancio
and a patch to find MUX values you get from me :-)

Eivind.
