Hi I have following ports installed on my FreeBSD 5-Stable system: mozilla-1.7.5_2,2 plugger-5.1.2 acroread-7.0.0 In Mozilla, Help->About Plug-ins, shows me a long list of Mime types that are handled by plugger: File name: npplugger.so Plugger version 5.1.2 [...cut text...] Config file: /usr/X11R6/etc/pluggerrc-5.1.2 Helper binary: plugger-5.1.2 Controller binary: plugger-controller OpenOffice helper: plugger-oohelper When I click on a pdf file, I can verify with the ps command that plugger-5.1.2 indeed has been launched: plugger-5.1.2 2576,1,38,27262978,0,0,920,607 \ acroread -tempFile +useFrontEndProgram \ -geometry +9000+9000 "$file" The mozilla window is empty and has "Running helper ..." in the bottom. However, nothing happens after this. No pdf file loaded, nothing! Any idea what is causing the problem? A problem in the plugger configuration file? Or a problem with acroread-7.0.0? Using plugger with, for example, realvideo files, works fine. Regards, Rob. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
