Glen,

What would be most helpful to try?

1. rebuild kernel with 'pmsdrv' removed from kernel, install and reboot
with the module present
2. patch the src tree (with the patches in the e-mail thread) and
rebuild/install kernel (GENERIC) and reboot
3. anything else

I will have an hour or two of free time later on so I could try and help
out.
