 That is strange. Are you sure you're using the correct maestro3.c?
 Grab http://people.freebsd.org/~ariff/test/maestro3.c again, and pay
 attention on any "Maestro3 PCI subdev..." kernel/console message. Make
 sure to unset hint.pcm.0.dac before reloading the module.
