I didn't know, how would I change it so it would also update with patches
and makefiles?

*default host=cvsup1.us.freebsd.org
*default base=/usr/local/etc/cvsup
*default prefix=/usr
*default tag=RELENG_5_3
*default release=cvs delete use-rel-suffix compress
