I've added a new sound card. After modifying, compiling kernel, and reboot, I try to MAKEDEV snd0.(sh MAKEDEV snd0 in /dev) There is no response and no error message, but I can't find the device "snd0" in the dir "/dev". So that I just can play CD, but not wav or mid file. I check the "sndstat", the "newpcm" have been installed and DSP also have been driven. Why can I not make the device snd0??
