Yes, I've noticed the same thing (with 4.4-STABLE).

Unfortunately not, but presumably it's a driver bug. Any "wi" driver
experts out there want to take a look at this? (I'll try looking into this
myself, if necessary, although I'm not a "wi" driver expert.)
