As I recall, the cache poisoning vulnerability was nuked 
somewhere between 4.9.6 and 4.9.7. The 4.x security holes 
mentioned at 

http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2001-02.html

were all closed between 4.9.7 and 4.9.8. OpenBSD still
uses 4.9.8, I believe, and has had no exploitable
vulnerabilities due to it. They do good audits.

Oh, and LARIAT isn't "my" server. I did found the 
organization (way back in 1995), but am mainly 
just a member who volunteers some admin time.
