I had this same problem some months ago when I upgraded my sources
from 2.2.2-RELEASE to 2.2.5-RELEASE using CVSup.

Delete the /usr/src/sys tree (save your kernel config first),
and do the CVSup again. You will get new, fresh kernel sources,
 and the compilation will succeed.
