I would like to remap the META key to be ALT instead of ESCAPE. I would prefer to do this system-wide (as opposed to just in X). What's the easiest way to go about this? I checked the FAQ, the Handbook and the list archives and couldn't really find this addressed, I'm surprised the issue doesn't come up more often.
