Subject: two pci soundcards, how to use with fbsd 4.1 RC?

since some 4.1 RC, the Soundblaster Live 1024 seems to be recognized
during bootup when device pcm is set in the kernel config, at least the
EMU10K1 which is basically an SB16 emulation, isnt it?

the sound doesnt work very well, and upon starting an audio app i get a
kernel message "pci error" or somthing like this.

i've also got an ES1371 (PCI128) soundcard in my machine, i bought it
when 4.0 release didnt support support SB Live at all.

so now, Live is recognized as well as ES1371, but Live works crappy.
and now i want to know how i can select the soundcard which should be
used for audio apps.
its not done by ./MAKEDEV snd0 or snd1 in /dev?

anyone know how?

thanks
regards
