They are enabled in the provided GENERIC kernel. Thanks, David. I want to do the memory upgrade before I move from 1.1.5.1 to 2.0. Do I need to recompile my 1.1.5.1 kernel first? I don't have any option "bounce buffers" in my config now, but I've experimented recompiling my kernel lots, and feel comfortable with that. Will this work? I want to move to 2.0 on Friday night. ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@eng.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 7608 Topton St. | New Carrollton, MD 20784 | I run Journey2 (Esix SVR4) and n3lxx (FreeBSD) (301) 459-2316 | ----------------------------+-----------------------------------------------
