Its Yeah, OSX you run for the GUI and ease of use. Not for raw speed. I built a US$ 99 300 MHz G3 PowerMac out of a surplus G3 mainboard, a ATX case (minor sawing work required) and an IDE disk. Just to play with OSX ;) Got inspired by the EuroBSDcon "MacOSX on a budget" presentation.
