The oldest version of FreeBSD to take use of SMPng would be 5.0, but you
wouldn't want to run anything below 5.5/6.0 for this right now anywaw.

Other than that, the dual-core processors should be visible as two processors to
the OS, so it should work on older versions such as 4.x as well.
