How would I go about changing the default bit depth in X? I tried changing the 8 to 16 in /etc/XF86Config but startx balked because it couldn't find a definition for the default bit depth (8). Any ideas will be gratefully appreciated...thanks! _____________________________________________________ Justin Ashworth, justin@structured.net ___________ "Well, you can get away with mistakes as an engineer.
