I've recently upgraded to 4.0.3, and I also decided to start using xdm instead of startx. Everything seems to be working ok, except for the fact that xdm doesn't seem to look at /etc/login.conf since none of the changes I make to that file have any effect in an xterm/Eterm I start. I haven't forgotten to run cap_mkdb -- changes appear as expected when I log in on the console. Is there a configuration option somewhere I've missed, or is this a Real Bug(tm)? Thanks for any suggestions... - Rich -- Richard Kuhns rjk@grauel.com PO Box 6249 Tel: (765)477-6000 \ 100 Sawmill Road x319 Lafayette, IN 47903 (800)489-4891 / To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
