At the top of the output there is: GDB: no debug ports present KDB: debugger backends: ddb KDB: current backend: ddb This makes me think that debugging is already compiled in. Also in the default XENHVM config option ddb and option kdb are already included. I had been seeing the db> prompt. So I tried it again now.
