In Linux maybe.  What happens is that Linux doesn't recognize cons25 and
rather than say so and ask for a TERM type (a la BSDI) it just refuses the
connection.  It will do that with any TERM that isn't defined in its
termcap. 

Not very sociable, IMO. :)
