I've tried configuring xdm like they say in the faq and handbook In /etc/rc.conf.local I added: echo " xdm"; /usr/X11R6/bin/xdm and in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xservers I added: :0 local /usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 vt03 I reboot my box I get the xdm login prompt and I type my username and passwd, when I press enter it seems like xdm restarts agin asking username and passwd over again .. and it keeps on doing it over and over .. what did I miss ? thanks Mike To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
