It is inappropriate to send a large build log (and without any
introductory text at that) to the freebsd-ports@ mail list. Sending it
to the maintainer (CC'd) was ok, but opening a PR is actually the
appropriate action to take. ( http://www.freebsd.org/send-pr.html )

Thanks,
John

P.S. Please don't say an email is easier to fire off than a opening a
PR. Of course it is, but that doesn't make it any more appropriate.
