They are only tagged at the points of FreeBSD releases, so all commits are to head. As a result, the term MFC is not appropriate. The patch simply needs to be committed to the tree. Since this port is maintained by x11@, this is the place to talk about it. But to get the patch committed, someone should open a bug at http://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla.
