cd /sys/i386/boot/netboot
vi Makefile	# there are a few options
make

(&& find someone to burn you the EPROM)

My scratchbox can do netbooting fine, with a WD8003 card.

There's also a handbook section about diskless booting, i think it
also covers the server side.  It was fairly painless for me to get the
environment running from that description.
