Hi, I've got problems using two Sis NIC with TX chipset (Pentium 166MHz MMX): sis0: <SiS 900 10/100BaseTX> port 0xd000-0xd0ff mem 0xe7000000-0xe7000fff irq 9 at device 11.0 on pci0 sis0: Ethernet address: 00:40:33:aa:87:54 miibus0: <MII bus> on sis0 ukphy0: <Generic IEEE 802.3u media interface> on miibus0 ukphy0: 10baseT, 10baseT-FDX, 100baseTX, 100baseTX-FDX, auto sis1: <SiS 900 10/100BaseTX> port 0xb800-0xb8ff mem 0xe6800000-0xe6800fff irq 12 at device 12.0 on pci0 sis1: Ethernet address: 00:40:33:d2:a2:17 sis1: MII without any PHY! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ device_probe_and_attach: sis1 attach returned 6 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What is happening? I'm using FreeBSD 4.0-20000705-STABLE and I can't upgrade now. There isn't conflict with irqs. I've tested three SIS cards with 4.2-20010201-STABLE on Soyo 5SSM motherboard and all works fine. Is there a hardware problem? Do I may upgrade to 4.2-20010201-STABLE? What does mean "sis1 attach returned 6"? Paulo -- __O _-\<,_ Why drive when you can bike?
