Certainty:

*  You have a problem :-)

Possibilities:

*  You did not pay enough for the cables.

*  There a stub in the cable.  Stubs are bad.

*  The AHA is not terminated correctly (check the BIOS ^a settings).

*  Neither side is providing TERM-POWER (normaly the HBA should).

*  Both sides provide TERM_POWER.

*  The drive is terminated, in addition to the external terminator.

*  Deffective drive

If Microsoft Built Cars:

There would be an "Engine Pro" with bigger turbos, but it would be
