FreeBSD comes with support that is close to it... it supports the 1.72meg
floppy standard... just

fdformat /dev/fdx.1720

and there you go... now newfs/mkdosfs it... and you have your disk...  it
worked great for me back when I installed 1.1.5.1... :)  (and in some ways
I actually like that old install over the new one, wierd...)
