I had the same problem, digged a little deeper, and found out, that you
only see this problem, if you don't have NAS installed (It's like a cat
biting its tail) - I made up a patch for this, and submitted it via
send-pr (ports/4935). That was 4 Nov 1997 - i never heared anything
back. You might try that patch (
<ftp://ftp.42.org/pub/patches/nas-1.2.5-FreeBSD.port.patch>; put it in
ports/audio/nas/patches/ as patch-zz) and tell me (and the list) if it
solves your problem.
