Well...just checking a couple basics...maybe you've already covered this...

Mailman says, "You can change the address that you are subscribed to the 
mailing list with by entering the new address in the fields below. Note 
that a confirmation email will be sent to the new address..."

Did you look for it at the new address?

It might be simpler and more reliable to create a new subscription for 
the new address, and later delete the old subscription. And, to be 
straightforward, do everything about creating the new subscription, from 
the new account. (And delete the old subscription from the old account.)
