    Yes, it is a SmartCache V with the newer I2O & i960, etc.  I noticed your
posting that you are working on the driver for it, which is great!  Do you have
a good idea about when you might be finished?  I'm a little cautious about
being a beta tester (this machine is important and not backed up yet), but I'd
like to help out if it'll help you get the driver written more quickly/easily.

    Hmm, is there a way to enable the driver to use IDE calls until you
finish the "native" driver for the card?
