Hi,

When I do:

   ps -U ernst

I see lots of mail-related processes running (`ernst' is my account):

   81242 ?? IW 0:00.00 bin/qmail-local -- ernst /home/ernst ernst localhost
   81245 ?? IW 0:00.00 /bin/sh -c preline /usr/local/bin/procmail
   81246 ?? IW 0:00.00 preline /usr/local/bin/procmail
   81247 ?? RN 0:00.02 /usr/local/bin/procmail
   81255 ?? IW 0:00.00 bin/qmail-local -- ernst /home/ernst ernst localhost
   81258 ?? IW 0:00.00 /bin/sh -c preline /usr/local/bin/procmail
   81259 ?? IW 0:00.00 preline /usr/local/bin/procmail
   81260 ?? RN 0:00.01 /usr/local/bin/procmail
   :

   (and so on)

Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Looks like there's some deadlock
situation. It seems my email isn't getting thru either.

My setup:

   FreeBSD 4.1.1-STABLE on a P2-400, 128 MB, U2W
qmail-1.03 (from the ports) (Maildir folder format)
procmail-3.14 (from the ports) (run from ~/.forward)
fetchmail-5.5.1 (from the ports) (uses pop3s)

Any ideas/pointers would be great :)

Ernst
