This doesn't seem like a bug to me. Is there officially required Posix
behaviour? I reported the opposite of this bug some time ago:

https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D205358

https://github.com/libarchive/libarchive/issues/708

For me, not failing when an input file can't be found is a problem. To not =
fail
on a file moving seems like something that should be explicitly requested w=
ith
a command line option.
