https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=195455 Bug ID: 195455 Summary: gtk30 should depend on adwaita-icon-theme Product: Ports Tree Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: henry.hu.sh@gmail.com The default style for gtk3 is adwaita, and it is also the fallback style. It depends on adwaita-icon-theme to function correctly. Else, you would see missing icons on the program interface. gnome-icon-theme-symbolic provides some of the icons, but other icons are in adwaita-icon-theme. Please make gtk3 depend on adwaita-icon-theme, or else users would be confused by the missing icons. I've spent several hours to find the reason, first gnome-icon-theme-symbolic and then adwaita-icon-theme. I found it by using GTK_DEBUG=icontheme and compare the results with my Arch machine. If you check arch's gtk3, it depends on adwaita-icon-theme: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/i686/gtk3/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
