I've got an NCR 810 scsi card and a Sony Spressa 960.
I'm having problems getting this combination to work. I'm running 3.0-RELEASE,
with a generic kernel. The boot gets to the line

ncr0: SCSI phase error fixup: CCB already dequeued (0xf0862600)

and sits there a while. Eventually, the timeout messages start, and a long while
later (don't know exactly how long, I left it booting overnight) it
gives up and finishes the boot. This whole problem is strange, because this
stuff works fine under Linux and Windows 98 (on the same machine). Clearly, BSD
does not care for my CD-R. Is this simply a matter of installing a newer
kernel?

Thanks for any help!

Here's my dmesg output:
