Also, I've had endless trouble with linux-sun-jdk14, and note that it's marked 
with a nasty Do-Not-Use message in the tree.  1.3.1 works fine; is a Linux 
JDK required for the build process?  I don't recall needing Linux JDK 1.4.1 
for mine.
