When the setting first became available, I found it wasn't the case, and that's why on all my stable systems I had to set WITHOUT_REPRODUCIBLE_BUILD=3DYES in /etc/src.conf in order to preserve prev= ious uname -a behaviour. This is the reason why I became aware of it and why I h= ad=20 an opinion about it.
