When you're ready to install FreeBSD again, come back here or read the handbook and questions mail list archives about dynamic IP addresses with PPP. In the meantime, when the install asks you for your IP address, tell it 10.0.0.1. -- "Where am I, and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
