I'm just trying to install the 4.3 Rel from the CD (GENERIC kernel). It
loads the kernel and builds the file system fine, however when it tries
copy the files the kernel panics with a NMI.

As it turns out it only worked that one time with one processors
installed. Now I'm getting the NMI either way. I think it a hardware
problem. Your the second person who says they have one that works, so it
not likely that it's a driver problem.

Did you make any changes to the BIOS setup?

Thx...
