Has anyone ahd the same problems I haveing starting radiusd at boot time? I've instaled ascend-radius980618 from the UK ftp server via /stand/sysinstall. I can start it OK by hand, logged in as root. However, despite having an rc.local file as such : sleep 60 /usr/local/sbin/radiusd echo - n ' radiusd ' at boot time the "radiusd" is echoed to the screen BUT radiusd doesn't start! I've tried the sleep 60 at the start in order to give everything else a chance to settle down in case radiusd needs something else running ok to run itself, but it makes no difference. However, I can log in and start it by hand as root perfectly adequately. There are no entries in /var/log/messages to indicate there are any problems. Has anybody any ideas? I'm running FBSD v 3.2 Regards -- Didds To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
