Move script contents to rc.local which is called last by rc.  I have also 
used 'sleep 30' in rc.pccard as in:

    pccardd 2>&1 > /var/log/pccardd.debug &
      echo -n "  Waiting for pccardd to process."
        sleep 20
Well, this one set up faster.
