You should take a look at the commands dump and restore (for UFS)- or zfs send/ receive for ZFS. Howto use: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/backup-basics.html It is a little bit problematic with HW-Raid. You have to setup HW-Raid on the destination machine and clone to this raidset.
