I'm trying to upgrade samba-devel port to alpha3 and the pidfile hack that's used in alpha2 and below doesn't work on 3, I get the following error during a make build Using LIBS = -lreadline -lcrypt Compiling smbd/reply.c cc: unrecognized option `-PIDFILEDIR="/var/run"' Compiling smbd/trans2.c cc: unrecognized option `-PIDFILEDIR="/var/run"' Any help would be appreciated.
