Ok, didn't realize that, but I guess I kinda thought that from reading
the Xsession script.  For sanity's sake, and to not have to maintain two
files, would it cause any problem to change the line in Xsession from
"startup=$HOME/.xsession" to "startup=$HOME/.xinitrc"?
