I think the point is, that con's of the request outweigh the pro's for this
particular request.  We would end up with subjects such as..
	FreeBSD: Re: FreeBSD: Re: FreeBSD: Re: A request to the list owner.

Believe me, this is more than annoying, it runs any ability to keep track of
a thread in an efficient or reasonable manor.

If you are using a UNIX based mail reader there are several ways to
accurately sort the mailing lists so that nothing slips through the cracks.
If you are using a Windows based mailer, either find a better one that will
allow you to sort your mail by specific headers in the e-mail, or setup the
best rules you can with what you have to work with, and live with the
overflow.

Here where I work, I have to use MS Outlook 97 (Exchange Server), and have
rules setup to catch thing to: cc: from:  freebsd-questions and
questions@freebsd.org.  It works about 99.5% of the time so I can't
complain.  But at home I also have procmail filter everything into specific
folders when it is delivered.
