I am not trying to create an install cd, or floppy. I just want a FreeBSD
bootable cd that will boot single user to a shell prompt. Once I can get
that far, I will want to have a script on that that will run when it boots
so that any dummy can put the CD in the drive, boot the machine, and just
answer the questions asked by the script.

I have been searching and asking this archive for the past 3 days about
doing this, and everybody seems to think that I am talking about creating
an install CD, when that is NOT what I am intending. I looked at
somebodies example of using boot.flp to write boot blocks to an ISO image
so that I can write the ISO to a CD and boot from it. I tried it, and it
took me into the installation. This is not what i am wanting.

Thanks.

Sincerely,

Rick Duvall
