nvidia.ko and X work OK for me on yesterday -current:

nvidia0: <GeForce4 MX 460> mem 0xef800000-0xef87ffff,0xf0000000-0xf7ffffff,0xed000000-0xedffffff irq
11 at device 0.0 on pci1

Don't know what linux-nvidia-port is for.
