I run several production sites that depend on multi-processor FreeBSD systems. My oldest is running 4.0 release on an L440Gx+ Intel board with dual PIII 500 mhz processors. I have an uptime of over 300 days. These servers are abused on a daily basis and have never exhibited any abnormal behavior.

I have systems from 4.0 -> 4.3RC running on multi-proc Intel boxes, all with the L440GX+, and have never had a problem.
