Don't do that.  There are still some nasty bugs in the DOS driver
(which effect only certain DOS partition sizes, unfortunately, so it's
hard to predict who they'll strike) and this is why we mount it RO by
default.

You need to install an 8x8 font first - see the man page for vidcontrol.
