i am running -stable, and don't want to go -current
(at least, not for a thing like this where a one-line change does the
job).

would it be possible to bring the update to setsockopt() into -stable ?
Looks like a simple fix (haven't looked at the code in detail, but
what's more than malloc'ing a different, larger mbuf ?)
