Hi all, I'm using FreeBSD 8.0 BETA1, but I post in this list cause I had the same problem in 7.2, since it is Xorg related. I have a laptop. The touchpad provides 4 buttons. Two of them are the normal "left" and "right" buttons and the other two should provide the wheel-like functionality, scrolling windows up and down. However, the behavior is quite different. In Firefox, for example, if I click on the touchpad area, I go back to the previous web site. The same for the wheel-down button. The wheel up button doesn't do anything. I disabled the "AutoAddDevices" in xorg.conf and added a mouse section: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "auto" Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse" Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5 6 7" EndSection It doesn't work either. I tried to change the protocol from "auto" to "IMPS/2" but it hangs Xorg. How can I configure the touchpad? Thanks in advance.
